Are you a student with ADHD and a learning disability planning to attend college in the state of Florida? If you are going to be enrolling in the State University System of Florida, you may qualify for the Theodore R. and Vivian M. Johnson Scholarship through the Johnson Scholarship Foundation. You also can apply for this scholarship if you are already enrolled in a University System college.
In order to qualify for this scholarship, you must demonstrate financial need (by applying for or renewing FAFSA), and provide an official current transcript showing that your GPA is 2.0 or higher. You must also provide documentation which proves that you have a learning disability. Remember that ADHD alone does not constitute a learning disorder. Qualifying students will also either be enrolled in or admitted to a college in the State University System of Florida. The application for this scholarship program is May 15th. If you have ADHD and a learning disability, this is a great scholarship to apply for. The amount depends on the level of funding available each year, but every little bit helps you to afford your education.
